 ABOUT MECHANICAL DEPARTMENT

The Mechanical Engineering Division established in 1995 is by far the largest of the SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING in terms of faculty size and facilities available. The course curriculum of Mechanical Engineering is constantly reviewed and revived to adapt to ever changing requirements and to satiate the needs of both national and international industry. The present course is molded keeping in view, the growing demand for integration of modern advances in electronics and computer technology into the mechanical field. The division is strive to educate students as the next generation of engineers capable of becoming leaders in industry, government and academia. It is evident from the fact that all of the students get selected into topmost MNCs from campus placement itself and many of them opt for higher studies in world renowned institutes both in India and abroad.
